Job Description
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures specific to elevator industry operations (installation, service, site work, etc.).
Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses at installation and maintenance locations.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE standards and regulations.
Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams to implement safety controls and preventive measures.
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training for field technicians, engineers, and subcontractors.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
Monitor and report safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Maintain HSE documentation, safety permits, and certifications.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NIOSH, IOSH, OSHA) preferred.
1–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in the construction, engineering, or elevator/escalator industry.
Familiarity with lifting operations, confined spaces, working at heights, and electrical lock-out/tag-out procedures.
