Position Summary
The Product Manager & Business Development Executive for Physical Security, Building Management Systems (BMS), and CCTV will be responsible for driving vendor relationships, product portfolio development, and market growth. This role bridges technical expertise in engineering and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems with strong business acumen, focusing on expanding company presence in security and building automation markets.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management & Vendor Development
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors and product lines in Physical Security, BMS, and CCTV.
- Maintain strong relationships with global and regional manufacturers to secure competitive pricing, support, and exclusive partnerships.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for newly onboarded solutions.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Business Development
- Drive sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing opportunities in construction, enterprise, and government projects.
- Position as a trusted partner for contractors, consultants, and end-users in ELV and security projects.
- Develop strong networks with consultants to secure product approvals in project specifications.
- Manage the full sales cycle in construction-related projects, from design stage through tendering to execution.
- Negotiate effectively with both customers and vendors to maximize profitability and project success.
Engineering & Project Support
- Understand engineering requirements for ELV, BMS, and CCTV projects and provide technical guidance to sales and project teams.
- Support solution design and bid preparation for large-scale projects.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / IT Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in product management, business development, or sales in Physical Security, BMS, CCTV, or ELV solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Fire Alarm Integration, and BMS.
- Proven experience in vendor management and product portfolio development.
- Strong understanding of construction project sales cycle (contractor–consultant–end user).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with both vendors and customers.
- Ability to balance technical knowledge with business development and sales execution.
- Familiarity with major security and BMS vendors is a plus.
