Job Description
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications of raw material and packaging to ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
- Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting guide Laboratory Team to ensure that standards are met and Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Determining the required specifications for machines and contributing to the preparation of standards for laboratory tests and standardization of measurement.
- Ensure compliance with all ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 policy and procedures
- Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the laboratory and ensuring good laboratory practices are implemented, documented and sustained.
- • Ensure the site QC processes align and support product specification.
- • Ensure that the raw material and finished product inspection plans are up to date
- • Ensure that all test equipment is available and functioning to meet raw material and finished good specifications.
- • Responsible for maintaining calibration schedule of laboratory and production equipment
- Collaborate with purchasing in reviewing proposed raw materials to ensure that they meet specification.
- Identifies raw material substitutions for improved chemical properties or cost improvements.
- Ensure that all finished goods produced on site are completed in accordance with inspection Plans
- Collaborate with production on methods that will bring out of specification product into conformance, Review product specification changes.
- Performs tasks associated with product formulations with complete confidentiality
- reviewing proposed Packaging materials to ensure that they meet specification.
- Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science, agriculture, or field related to the products being developed required are preferred.
- Internal auditors training awareness of ISO 22000-2018.
- ISO 9001 – 2015.
- Previous experience within 7 years in the same industry
