Job Description
Location: Cairo – on-site
Job Type: Full-time or freelance (with fixed hours)
We are a fast-moving SaaS startup developing cloud-based platforms tailored to the Arabic-speaking world. We’re building elegant, practical tools for users who deserve clarity, ease, and thoughtful design. You’ll be part of a small, driven team — and your design decisions will shape the product from the ground up.
- Design intuitive, modern user interfaces for our web and mobile apps.
- Collaborate with the founder, developers, and project manager to understand business and user needs.
- Translate user stories and functional requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Ensure designs are responsive, developer-friendly, and localized for Arabic-speaking users.
- Conduct basic user research or usability testing (when needed).
- Maintain and iterate on a consistent design system.
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a UI/UX designer (startup experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Figma (main), Adobe XD, or similar tools.
- Strong portfolio showing both UX thinking and UI design.
- Understanding of design for cross-platform apps (Flutter or Web).
- Ability to work independently and handle feedback with a growth mindset.
- Awareness of Arabic design nuances (RTL layout, localization considerations).
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing SaaS products or admin panels.
- Familiarity with development handoff tools (Zeplin, Figma Inspect...).
- Some knowledge of HTML/CSS or Flutter constraints (not required, just helpful).
