About the role

Thndr is looking for a digital product designer to join our growing team. This is a standalone role where you can drive forward considerable and positive changes within the organization.

Your day-to-day will involve:

Work with the product team & front end developers to implement & maintain the Thndr UI kit
Explore UI directions and coming up with solid solutions to standard UI problems (e.g. tabs, buttons, nested navigation, etc.) with respect to our current UI
Design solutions for our mobile & web platforms based on product brief
Collaborate with the product team to run usability tests on completed designs
Regularly review our app, website & tools for enhancements
Design and improve web touchpoints (landing page, blog, etc.) for our users.
Keep up to date with the latest design standards in Android, iOS & web, as well as the latest design trends

Job Requirements

Some things we consider critical for this role:

2-4 years designing user interfaces for digital products
High agency
Ability to act independently and to be self-motivated
Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Uncompromising integrity and strong dedication to professionalism
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and cross-functional relationship management skills
Strong fundamentals in Typography, UI & developer handoff
Experience working in a live digital product with developers, from design to production
Strong understanding of the design process
Strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Figma
Motion graphics or UI animation skills are a plus
