Job Description

  • Contacting and coordinating with all shipping parties (ship owners-ship masters- shippers - consignees - notify parties). 
  • Revising pre-arrival documents for all Egyptian ports and Suez Canal Transit. 
  • Monitoring vessel operations and sending daily reports to concerned parties.
  • Preparing SOFs, Bs/L, cargo manifests, DOs, and all other shipping / cargo documents. 
  • Arranging all services required for the vessel during her call at all Egyptian ports and Suez Canal Transit (airport clearance and delivery of parcels, crew change, supplies, etc.). 
  • Preparing a summary with all important info and services arranged for the vessel during her call.
  • Assigning and following up on Surveyors / ship chandlers / bunker suppliers / other marine service providers whenever needed.
  • Filing and documentation. 

Job Requirements

  • Fluency in Spoken / Written Business English is a MUST
  • Graduates of College “English Sections” Are Preferred
  • Shipping Knowledge Preferred (At Least One-Year Experience in the Field)
  • Readiness to Work on Weekends / Holidays Whenever Necessary
  • Alexandria / Port-Said Residents Only
  • High Market Awareness
  • Good Negotiation Skills
  • Excellent and Fast User of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • High Ability to Liaise with Colleagues and 3rd Parties
  • Very Good Time Management Skills
  • Very Good Communication Skills
