Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the correctness (number and amount) of received batches from CPD and its confirmation on the GMACC.
- Validates correctness and completeness of data provided by healthcare providers.
- Provides second-level review of visas to ensure compliance with the procedural policies and to ensure optimal eligibility and coverage.
- Check and correct DRC flagging.
- Audits medical record documentation to identify medically unjustified services; prepares reports of findings.
- Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
- Assigning correct deduction codes.
- Ensures strict confidentiality of medical and financial records.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Clinical hospital experience is preferable.
- Medical coding (ICD 10 – CPT).
- Fluent English language
- Problem solving and creative thinking.
- Microsoft office skills.
- Good communication skills
