Role Overview:
The Medical & Healthcare Director will be responsible for leading and overseeing all clinical operations, patient safety, medical compliance, and healthcare strategy across iVein Clinics. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with regulatory standards, clinical excellence, and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership
Lead and supervise all medical departments and healthcare professionals across iVein Clinics.
Establish and monitor standards of care, clinical pathways, and treatment protocols.
Promote evidence-based practices and continuous clinical improvement.
Operational Oversight
Align medical operations with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with HR and management on hiring, credentialing, and evaluating physicians and clinical staff.
Oversee clinic expansion, service line development, and cross-functional coordination.
Quality & Patient Safety
Ensure compliance with local and international healthcare standards and accreditation (e.g., JCI, CBAHI, MOH).
Lead quality assurance initiatives and clinical audits.
Respond to patient safety issues and support risk mitigation.
Strategy & Development
Develop and implement short- and long-term healthcare strategies for clinic growth.
Guide new service launches, patient outreach initiatives, and specialty innovations (e.g., vascular care, minimally invasive procedures).
Represent the clinic in medical boards, conferences, and regulatory interactions.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary liaison between physicians, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
Review patient satisfaction reports and lead service enhancement initiatives.
Guide and mentor medical staff, fostering a culture of accountability.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent)
Additional certification in Healthcare Management is a plus
Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical leadership (preferably in outpatient or specialty clinics)
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary medical teams and oversee clinic operations
Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MOH, DHA, CBAHI, HIPAA)
Strategic thinking and strong decision-making capabilities
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Budgeting and performance monitoring experience
Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Proficient in using EMR systems, clinical dashboards, and digital health tools
Preferred:
Previous experience in managing vascular or outpatient surgical centers
Certification in Healthcare Quality, JCI Accreditation, or LEAN Healthcare
Experience in building new clinical departments or service lines
Strong background in performance metrics and cost control
