Job Description

  • Reviewing the balance sheet reconciliations and major accounts by conducting detailed analysis and verification of financial data, while ensuring accuracy and compliance to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors and ensuring the integrity of financial information.
  • Evaluating the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculation by conducting detailed examinations of fixed asset records, calculations, and supporting documentation to guarantee accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and appropriate tax treatment of fixed assets.
  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of financial accounting reports by establishing efficient processes, monitoring, and guiding the accounting team, and reviewing financial reports for accuracy and timeliness to provide reliable financial information for management decision-making, regulatory compliance, and external reporting requirements.
  • Driving the implementation and improvement of procedures and features to enhance the department's workflow by identifying areas for improvement, developing, and implementing new processes, and providing training to staff as needed.
  • Reviewing and providing comprehensive monthly financial reports with in-depth analysis and commentary by conducting a detailed analysis of financial data, generating reports, and presenting findings in relevant meetings to facilitate understanding of financial performance, support decision-making, and ensure transparency for internal and external stakeholders.
  • cash flow, projecting cash projections, and evaluating monthly expenditures by analyzing financial data, collaborating with department managers and the finance manager, and addressing cash flow issues to ensure effective cash management, timely payments, and aligning expenditures with available resources.
  • managing a team of accountants by training and evaluating team members, providing guidance and support, and monitoring performance to ensure a competent and motivated workforce, promote growth and development, and enable efficient execution of financial accounting responsibilities.
  • strong partnerships with various departments and stakeholders within the organization by collaborating, communicating effectively, and building relationships to understand business needs and provide financial expertise leading to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and align financial strategy with business objectives.
  • Manage general ledger accounting functions
  • Undertaking additional duties, projects, or analyses as assigned by management by executing assigned tasks, projects, or analyses with diligence and attention to detail contributing to the overall success of the organization and support specific initiatives or objectives as directed.
  • Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Company guidelines, performing training, monitoring compliance, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or related.
  • +5 years of experience in the same role, with a strong corporate finance. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
