Job Description
- Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for various industrial processes.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for control systems and instrumentation projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems with mechanical and electrical components.
- Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control equipment on-site.
- Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of existing control systems to enhance performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
- Evaluate and select appropriate hardware and software solutions for process automation.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements based on data analysis and feedback.
- Participate in project planning, budgeting, and progress reporting to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in instrumentation and control engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of process automation, PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation.
- Experience with system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting in industrial environments.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, office-based environment.
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools related to control systems design.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
