We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Projects Director to lead the successful delivery of multiple large-scale construction projects. This executive role will oversee project managers, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment with the firm’s business goals, timelines, and quality benchmarks. The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional with a track record of managing high-value projects and leading cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership across all phases of project delivery—from planning and design through execution and close-out.
- Oversee and coordinate a portfolio of construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Lead and mentor project management teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance excellence.
- Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Monitor project risks, proactively implement mitigation strategies, and resolve complex challenges.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development through project forecasting and performance analysis.
- Drive contract negotiations and manage high-level vendor and stakeholder relationships.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in the construction sector, with at least 10 years in senior leadership/project director roles.
- Proven success in overseeing mega projects such as compounds, gated communities, resorts, commercial centers, and high-rise buildings.
- In-depth understanding of construction processes, contract management, and project delivery models.
- PMP certification is required; additional certifications (e.g., PMI-RMP, MBA) are an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong command of project management tools, ERP systems, and construction software.
- Fluent in English; strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
