We are seeking a strategic and technically proficient Quality Director to lead the development and implementation of world-class quality management systems across large-scale construction projects. This leadership role will drive quality excellence, ensure compliance with international standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all project phases. The ideal candidate is a seasoned quality professional with deep knowledge of ISO standards and a proven track record in mega projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide executive oversight of quality assurance and control activities across multiple concurrent construction projects.
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality management systems in alignment with ISO standards and industry best practices.
- Lead internal and external audits, drive corrective action processes, and ensure consistent compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance, and implement proactive strategies to minimize risk and non-conformance.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to embed a quality-first mindset and ensure adherence to technical standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and third-party auditors regarding all quality-related matters.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing quality team capable of supporting complex project demands.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 20+ years of experience in the construction industry, including more than 10 years in senior quality leadership roles on mega projects.
- Extensive knowledge of QA/QC processes, ISO standards, and international quality frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in managing compliance audits, quality systems implementation, and contractor oversight.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, PMP, or similar quality credentials are preferred.
- Fluent in English, with excellent reporting and documentation skills.
