Job Description
- Develop and implement cost control systems, procedures, and standards for construction and finishing projects.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and forecasts to ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Prepare regular cost reports, variance analyses, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to track and manage project costs.
- Review and validate contractor and supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with contracts and budgets.
- Analyze project risks and provide input on cost implications and mitigation strategies.
- Support the preparation of tender documents, cost estimates, and bid evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of all project-related financial data and documentation.
- Assist in the development of project cash flow projections and financial planning.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights on cost performance and financial status.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost control or related roles within the construction and finishing industry.
- Proven track record in managing project budgets, cost reporting, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of construction and finishing processes, contracts, and procurement practices.
- Proficiency in cost control software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial documentation.
- Experience with ERP systems or project management software is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
