Job Description
The Junior Planning Engineer supports the planning team in creating, developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules.
The role assists in coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that project timelines are realistic, tracked effectively, and aligned with overall project objectives.
- Assist in developing baseline project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Monitor progress and update schedules regularly.
- Support in preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to gather data.
- Identify and report delays, risks, and deviations from the schedule.
- Assist in preparing time impact analyses and recovery plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in planning and scheduling in the construction sector.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Good knowledge of project lifecycle and construction workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
