Job Description
Review and analyze tender documents including BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals for civil and infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and cost control departments to ensure accurate inputs.
Estimate quantities, material costs, equipment, and manpower requirements.
Obtain and evaluate offers from suppliers and subcontractors.
Ensure all tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and clarification sessions.
Maintain a comprehensive database of past tenders, prices, and supplier information.
Support value engineering activities and cost optimization initiatives.
Handover successful bids to the project execution team including all technical and commercial details.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
8–12 years of experience in civil/infrastructure tendering and cost estimation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and tendering software (e.g., CCS Candy, Primavera).
Familiarity with local construction regulations and international codes.
Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
