Job Description
- Design, review, and implement MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems for water treatment and related projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within overall project plans.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for MEP installations.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations in all MEP works.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials and equipment for projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and subcontractors.
- Participate in project meetings and report on progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, project schedules, and resource planning for MEP works.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 1-3 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably within water treatment or building services.
- Familiarity with MEP design principles, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design and drafting software.
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes and equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as required.
