Job Description
Position: Cost Control Engineer
We are looking for a highly qualified Cost Control Engineer with strong expertise in Civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems, procedures, and standards for large-scale civil and MEP projects.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost estimates based on BOQs, drawings, and contract documents.
- Track and analyze project costs against budgets and schedules, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Review, verify, and control contractors’ and suppliers’ claims, invoices, and variation orders.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial reporting.
- Provide regular cost reports, variance analysis, and updated forecasts to management.
- Identify cost overrun risks in civil and MEP works, and propose mitigation measures.
- Support tendering, bidding, and contract negotiations through detailed cost analysis and benchmarking.
- Ensure compliance with international cost control standards, company policies, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in cost control within large-scale Civil & MEP projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and cost management principles.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, Revit, and cost management software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in multinational and fast-paced project environments.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel and relocate abroad as required.
