Job Description
• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys in accordance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks across the site, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Perform precise leveling, alignment, and positioning of civil and structural components.
• Collaborate closely with civil, structural, and mechanical engineering teams to support construction activities.
• Verify contractor survey data and provide quality assurance on all geospatial deliverables.
• Prepare, process, and maintain survey records, drawings, and digital data using relevant software.
• Ensure all surveying activities are carried out in compliance with nuclear site safety protocols and access restrictions.
• Assist in reviewing design drawings and providing feedback related to site conditions and existing infrastructure.
• Report progress, discrepancies, and potential issues to the site’s engineering manager or survey coordinator.
• Support inspection and verification processes during various project phases, including excavation, foundation works, and equipment installation.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, or Bachelor of Arts Surveying Department.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying instruments and software, including Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with international standards and best practices related to land and construction surveying.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures, especially in high-risk or controlled-access environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, topographic maps, and engineering plans.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
•Very good to excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
