Job Summary:
The Call Center Representative for Student Services will serve as the first point of contact for students, prospective students, and parents, providing high-quality support via phone, email, and live chat. This role is responsible for answering inquiries related to admissions, registration, financial aid, academic programs, and other student-related services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and live chats from students and families in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding enrollment, class schedules, tuition, financial aid, and campus resources.
- Assist students with resolving issues or directing them to appropriate departments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of college/university policies, procedures, and services.
- Document all student interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Handle complaints or concerns with patience and efficiency, escalating as needed.
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development sessions.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous customer service or call center experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable using computers, phone systems, and CRM tools.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
