Job Description

The E-commerce Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an e-commerce business. This includes managing order fulfillment, inventory management, customer service, and logistics to ensure efficient and seamless online order processing. The specialist will work closely with the e-commerce team to optimize workflows, identify and resolve bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

  1. Order Fulfillment Management: Oversee the order fulfillment process, including order picking, packing, and shipping. Ensure orders are processed and dispatched in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
  2. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, coordinate with the vendors to ensure adequate stock of popular products, and implement effective stock control procedures.
  3. Customer Service Oversight: Manage the customer service, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Ensure prompt and professional responses to customer inquiries and complaints.
  4. Logistics and Shipping Coordination: Communicate with logistics providers, negotiate shipping rates, and optimize delivery routes and methods to minimize costs and delivery times.
  5. Process Improvement: Continuously analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  6. Reporting and Analytics: Generate detailed reports on key performance indicators, such as order fulfillment rates, customer satisfaction, and inventory turnover. Provide insights and recommendations to the management team.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or customer service management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of shipping carriers, logistics, and fulfillment best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
