This is an ideal opportunity for those passionate about making a significant impact in the residential construction and design fieldResponsibility Lead and manage the successful delivery of design projects assigned;Review all the design documentation prepared by the external consultant Conduct design review workshops and presentation for project stakeholders for updating the project design, progress and project budgetManage and Coordinate activities of external design consultants & contractors by performing periodic project co-ordination meetings and site visits for construction work reviewAccountable for the contractual relationship between the external consultants / contractors and project stakeholders. Identify any changes to project scope or schedule that may impact the financial and legal risks for project stakeholdersWork closely with all department discipline teams (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) to promote an inter-disciplinary design approachEnsure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projectsProvide concept design for existing Houses refurbishment projects Proactively control variations and mitigate cost and schedule impactManage all constructability issues and liaise with the relevant parties to resolve themContribute to the completion of monthly management project reports and presentationsMinimum QualificationsDegree in Architecture (BS Arch; MS Arch), Civil engineering or related fieldAIA, RIBA Association membership (preferred) Excellent design skillsExcellent knowledge and experience in working on complex large scale building structuresMinimum 10 – 15 years of experience in building practice and mega projects Large Internationally reputed architectural practice / project management firm experience in Middle EastKnowledge of the Building Code and Planning ProcessFundamental understanding of the design process and experience in developing innovative solutions, including multidisciplinary coordination within Civil, Structural and MEP Experience and ability to work on the development and assessment of consultant’s design solutions and their integration into the final design with strong understanding of the construction methodology Experience in technical problem identification, problem solving, and conflict resolution. Proficiency in CADExcellent spoken and written English Excellent communication and time management skills##########################To apply please use our company website https://career.kubar.com/##########################
