We're on the lookout for a meticulous Architectural Millwork Draftsman to enhance our architectural design team! In this role, you'll bring architects' and designers' visions to life by crafting precise technical shop-drawings for commercial millwork, residential millwork, custom furniture, and casework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed millwork shop-drawings adhering to industry best practices and American Woodworking Institute standards.
- Utilize cutting-edge CAD software for precise measurements and to implement top fabrication and installation practices.
- Collaborate with architects, production managers, and clients to ensure compliance with production standards and industry regulations.
- Apply material specifications and best millwork practices to create well-aligned technical drawings.
- Maintain effective time management to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Engage in clear and concise communication in English with both internal and external teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Prior experience as an architectural draftsman, with a preference for those with expertise in interior or millwork applications.
- High proficiency in the latest AutoCAD software.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and remotely, as well as in a collaborative team setting.
- Fluent in written and verbal English, demonstrating strong conversational skills.
- Familiarity with the Imperiabl measurement system.
