The project management officer represents a new addition to the existing SoQM team and will report directly to the SoQM Leader and SoQM Senior Manager. Also, will interact with senior leadership and work closely with various teams across Kuwait member firm to drive the implementation of our enhanced SoQM. The ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications/ experience amongst others: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any relevant discipline.Professional accounting/auditing certification (e.g. CIA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience, with at least one (1) year as an external auditor. Experience gained in a Big 4 audit firm is desirable.Experience in audit or controls/compliance background will be an added advantage.Knowledge of the International System of Quality Management (“ISQM1”) standard will be preferable.Communication skills and the ability to motivate others to take action.Excellent skills in planning and organizing. Roles and responsibilities: Support the implementation of SoQM within the firm.Monitor the progress of SoQM related activities.Prepare presentation and progress reports on SoQM related activities.Build relationships across all levels of the Audit function and influence change.
