Job Summary: Completes preventative maintenance and/or basic repair activities on engines and related components at the customer site with minimal direction.Requirements:Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (preferably).Intermediate-level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products (preferably Cummins).Customer service experience.Locally valid driving permit (preferably).Key Responsibilities:Engage customers in a courteous and professional manner, anticipating and ensuring prompt and efficient attention to their needs.Utilize specialized tools and follow documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete less complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.Perform preventative maintenance activities according to documented schedules and standards on engines and related components in the field.Escalate unresolved issues to more experienced Field Service Technicians and/or Supervisor.Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims, either via handwritten forms or business system input screens.Identify additional service opportunities with customers.Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.Maintain service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues or incidents to site management and supervisors.
