Job Requirements
Lead and manage the Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy, execution, and integration across all MEP projects.
Develop and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and coordination throughout project lifecycles.
Oversee the creation, maintenance, and coordination of BIM models across all MEP disciplines—Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing—ensuring clash-free, constructible designs.
Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and external consultants to align BIM outputs with design intent, timelines, and construction requirements.
Conduct regular clash detection and resolution using platforms such as Navisworks and Revit, producing actionable coordination reports.
Train and mentor BIM coordinators, modelers, and engineers in BIM best practices, software use, and project-specific workflows.
Coordinate with IT and software vendors to manage BIM tools, upgrades, and licensing in line with project demands.
Prepare BIM execution plans, model progression specifications (LODs), and contribute to digital handover documentation for clients and facility management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering; advanced certifications in BIM (e.
g.
, Autodesk Certified Professional, RICS BIM Manager) are preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM management within MEP contracting or multidisciplinary construction environments.
Expert-level proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 (or similar CDE platforms).
Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, and coordination challenges in complex projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead BIM teams and collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and construction departments.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with a focus on digital innovation and continuous improvement.
