Job Title: HSE EngineerLocation: Ras Al KhaimahSalary: Based on experienceJob Code: 294/001/948Industry: ManufacturingJob Brief:A leading manufacturing company is seeking a qualified HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across its facility. The role requires the development and enforcement of internal safety standards, conducting risk assessments, organizing safety awareness campaigns, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, preferably within the sheet metal industry, and demonstrate expertise in occupational health and safety practices.Job Responsibilities:Develop and implement internal HSE policies, procedures, and working practices.Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigating safety hazards.Define safe operational procedures considering all potential hazards.Perform regular site inspections to ensure HSE compliance.Maintain inspection records and prepare reports recommending improvements.Investigate accidents, property damage, and prepare incident reports.Monitor changes in HSE best practices and update internal procedures accordingly.Provide safety training, orientations, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.Conduct emergency evacuation drills and safety inspections across various systems (fire, electrical, construction, etc.).Ensure compliance with international standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.Act as the point of contact with relevant governmental regulatory bodies.Job Requirements:Minimum 10 years of GCC experience in a similar HSE roleEducational Qualifications: Engineering background (any discipline)Certifications: NEBOSH IGC 1, 2, and 3 (Passed)Experience in a manufacturing plant (preferably with sheet metal exposure)In-depth knowledge of fire safety systems and HSE equipmentStrong risk assessment capabilitiesExcellent communication skills across all organizational levelsAbility to work under pressure in a multicultural environmentWillingness to undergo continuous professional development
