By offering the best and broadest portfolio of engineering simulation software, Ansys helps companies solve the most complex design challenges and engineer products limited only by imagination.JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking dedicated and passionate senior consulting engineer to join our team in Dubai; who engages in training and consulting activities to simulate complex mechanical engineering problems for customers using ANSYS software products.RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERTISE REQUIREMENT:As a Consulting Engineer in FEA, your role will focus on addressing complex challenges through effective problem-solving. Your responsibilities will encompass:Perform consulting activities in complex mechanical engineering problems using ANSYS software products.Deep understanding of Ansys tools like Ansys Mechanical and Ansys LS-DYNA.Conducting meetings with customers to understand the requirements and scope of work.Creating & reviewing Technical proposal, time and cost estimation, resource planning, report writing and review, executing the projects, and delivering the results onNeed to demonstrate an ability to pick up new concepts and technologies quickly. Self-learning will be critical to accomplish this skill.Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills.Deliver high-quality introductory, advanced, and customized training online or onsite to the customers in the region.Experience in designing customized training workshops and materials addressing client requirements using Ansys Structures Portfolio.Ability to travel up to 40% DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:Hold a B.E/M.Sc. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or a closely related field.A minimum of 10 years of industrial experience in using simulation.Expert-level knowledge of linear, non-linear structural mechanics, explicit dynamics, linear dynamics, design optimization and multi-physics.Use of ANSYS Workbench, ANSYS Mechanical/APDL, LS-DYNA and related software packages.Ability to work independently, as well as with others in a diverse team environment.High skills in project management, developing project schedules, communication, and project monitoring and control.Ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively with customers.Problem solving skills and ability to create engineering solutions to customer problems.Fluent in written and spoken English.Practical work experience in design, physical test, product development is an advantage.Knowledge of industrial codes and standards is an advantage.
