The Director of Marketing is responsible to create and promote on-brand messaging to customers through various channels with the goal of enhancing the image of the hotel, driving consumer awareness, increasing market share, and building brand awarenessKey Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage all activities within the marketing department, ensuring all brand standards are followedCreate & execute the annual strategic and seasonal marketing plan according to budgetServe as the hotel’s primary brand ambassador, ensuring that brand guidelines are followedPlan and oversee the hotel’s advertising and promotional activitiesManage the hotel’s creative agency to develop all marketing collateral, promotional pieces, and advertising campaignsDevelop strong relationships with the media as well as with tourism industry partnersLeverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry mediaResponsible for the planning and execution of compelling consumer and media content creation as well as creative agency briefing (including copy writing, photo/video shootings) ensuring delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and hotel positioningPlan and oversee the hotel’s advertising and promotional activitiesPro-actively identify relevant marketing/ brand partners for the hotel and manage these relationships profitably to raise hotel awareness, drive demand, deepen loyalty and enrich brand experienceVerify all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voiceBuild and maintain positive relations with Accor Corporate and Regional officesOversee photo and video shoots for the hotel and seasonal campaignsOther duties as assignedQualificationsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESExcellent understanding of luxury marketExcellent understanding of all hotel departmentsProfessional presentation skillsKnowledge of basic accounting, math skills and analytical capabilities required.Ability to assess/evaluate employee’s performance fairly.Must have strong interpersonal skills with attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsA leader with a positive attitudeStrategic thinking combined with the ability to move strategy to actionProblem solving skillsManagerial / Leadership skillsSelf-motivated, creative and confident, with a highly energetic personalityCreative, independent, and manages stress gracefullyAbility to meet deadlines consistentlyPro-active and takes initiativeMust be organized and ability to work and follow systems and proceduresMust be adaptable to change of strategy, ideas, systems etc.Must be guest service orientedProficiency in organizational planning with the ability to multi-taskExperience & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related majorMinimum 5 years’ experience in the marketing, digital or related professional areaHospitality marketing or advertising agency experience preferredAn experienced marketing expert, a dynamic and self-driven, creative individualAn engaging and empathic leader Strong luxury hotel background is preferredFluency in English, written and spoken
