Job Title: Civil Engineer (CVE)-Reinforced Concrete StructuresReference: PIR 439902950Project AMIRAL P02&03 4398&4399 KSAJob Location: Jubail,KSAJob type/Contract: Contractual- 08 Months Extendable-(Till April 2025)Salary range: Competitive salary package with benefits Job summary/Role descriptionAs a Civil Engineer (CVE) will cooperate with the Field Engineering Manager (FEM) in the coordination of the engineering team moved on site, in order to assist the supervisors’ group of Construction (CONST) during the erection phase, specifically for steel structures.Duties and responsibilitiesTo assist FEM in enforcing of technical updates (if necessary) concerning the steel structures during erection, in tight coordination with the main office, in compliance with the contractual technical requirements.To control and handling of site engineering updates, in order to minimize the impacts on timing and costs of the project.To assist FEM in handling site queries, site material approval activities, concerning the steel structures.To coordinate the steel works design on site on the basis of the data received from other discipline (Layout & Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Utilities/ Power Process, Design HSE, Mechanical, Design & Utilities/Power Process, HVAC etc.);To check and approve late vendor’s documents (erection and shop dwg. List of materials, 3D model etc.);To assist FEM in the global technical coordination between the several engineering developing centres of the project (especially main office and site, but also other in the project involved group’s companies, subcontractors, vendors, partners).Person SpecificationKnowledge & QualificationsUniversity Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalentMaster's degree in civil engineering is preferred.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in steel vendor coordination or steel field engineering, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, powerExperience in coordinating international steel vendor suppliers or steel mechanical subcontractors, distributed in different locations (engineering centers or site)Skills and AbilitiesFluent English.Excellent IT and analytical skills.Excellent communications, team-oriented and interpersonal skills.Attention to details.Expert in Tekla structure softwareExpert in AutoCAD 2d drawings for modifying documents and in Autodesk navisworks for clash detectionAvailability to travel for short period.Special Requirements and CommentsOnly spontaneous candidates will be considered for this role.
