If you are as excited as we are about connecting hearts and showing your guest passion, join us as the next Heartist and help us to make Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk a truly welcoming destination!Job DescriptionThe PositionTo provide a consistent room and bathroom product, and service adjacent areas to meet Sofitel standards for cleanliness and presentationKey Roles & ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all tasks of his/her staffEnsure cleanliness of guest rooms, guest room balconies, guest corridors, linen rooms and housekeeping pantries according to set standards and proceduresSupervise public areasEnsure that guest supplies are replenishedEnsure guests’ requests are promptly and courteously metReport damage or malfunction in hotel rooms using P.M.S systemMaintain equipment in proper state of cleanliness and repairMaintain a section floor reportConduct daily briefings with staff at floor levelConduct regular room checklistsReport unusual behavior/activities on floors to Assistant Housekeeping ManagerRecord room status in allocated section accuratelyComply with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policiesAttend meetings and training sessions as requiredFully understand the difference in guest levels (VIP) and in room categoriesQualificationsPERSONAL ATTRIBUTESGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in EnglishMust be well presented and professionally groomed at all timesStrong interpersonal skills and attention to detailMust have good leadership skills and training skillsQualificationsDegree from School for Tourism & Hotel ManagementExperienceMinimum 3 years experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry
