Arabic Content Lead, Public Relations

Job DescriptionThe Role:We have an exciting opportunity for an Arabic Content Lead to join our growing team in Riyadh. We believe in the power of communication to effect change and we are excited by purposeful work.Role ResponsibilitiesAssist client in writing news releases, media invites, Q&As, speeches, features, bios and other internal communication material such as corporate/business presentations in PPT or other such software.Manage strategic content including crafting visions, missions, narratives, positioning statements, and key messages.Review, edit and rewrite all messages as required by team members.Ability to understand the requirements of various teams and convey the client’s key messages adequately and appropriately through effective use of language.Lead the content Team.Support teams by providing error-free media-worthy material.Suggest, tip and guide client-handling teams on matters related to media requests.Interact with the team members and support them in building accurate communication measures.Efficiently manage deadline-oriented workflow of releases, invites and requests from various team members daily.Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques or ideas at brainstorming sessions.Control the content quality when the pressure is very high.Align constantly with the projects leads to manage the expectations regarding the team capacity and deadlines.Role RequirementsLiterature/Journalism/Communications with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Public Relations or Journalism, or equivalent work experienceFair understanding of the Saudi culture, narratives, ecosystems and Vision 2030Previous experience as a member of a corporate communications team preferredExcellent grammar, editing, writing and re-writing skills;Fluent in English and ArabicA wordsmith who is proficient enough to provide error-free releases/invites that can be accepted by the mediaAbility to recognize the key messages of clients and offer effective ways to forcefully convey those messagesCapable of rapidly handling industry-specific research to add value to the releases and other communication material for the teamsCompletely thorough with local, regional and global current-affairsQuick with computers especially skilled in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbout APCOAPCO Worldwide is an advisory and advocacy consultancy helping leading public and private sector organizations be catalysts for progress by navigating the challenges of today, acting with agility, anticipating social risk and building organizational reputations, relationships and solutions to succeed.
