Job Description
As a Lead Sourcing Specialist - Catalogue Management, you will be responsible for
Defining and improving sourcing strategies at the business or plant level.
May also include management of regional & business teams.
Advising Functional Managers regarding projects, processes and procedures in their field.
Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
Contributing to the project as a team member or leading small projects.
Leading the Development, implementation and continuous improvement of our Ariba catalogues in collaboration with internal stakeholders and preferred suppliers.
Ensuring catalogue content complies with contractual terms.
Internal polices and category strategies.
Managing catalogue onboarding and maintenance, including pricing, product description, classification and data enrichment.
Partnering with IT and procurement systems teams to ensure proper integration of catalogues into ERP and e-procurement platforms (e.g., SAP, Ariba)
Monitoring catalogue usage, adoption, and performance metrics to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and drive compliance.
Coordinating regular reviews with suppliers to ensure catalogue content accuracy and up-to-date offerings.
Supporting sourcing projects by developing catalogue enablement plans and capturing catalogue-ready data during negotiations.
Ensuring supplier onboarding includes catalogue readiness criteria and compliance with punchout or hosted format standards.
Leading catalogue rationalisation initiatives and supporting tail-spend management strategies.
Training end-users and internal stakeholders on catalogue use, benefits, and updates.

To be successful in this role, you will
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Have at least 8+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with a focus on catalogue management or e-procurement systems.
Have a good understanding of ERP and P2P systems (e.g., SAP MM, Ariba, Oracle).
Have experience working with punchout catalogue formats.
Have analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets and derive insights.
Have excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Have familiarity with category management and supplier relationship management best practices.
Have certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CPSM)
Have a good technical understanding of catalogue file formats (e.g., CIF, Excel-based, XML)
Have experience in catalogue compliance audits or procurement controls
Have proficiency in MS Excel or similar reporting tools
Have attention to detail and a quality assurance mindset
