We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional to gain valuable experience and contribute to the growth of our organization.

As a Junior HR Generalist, you will be involved in a wide range of HR activities, with a particular emphasis on personnel management and timekeeping responsibilities for our stores. We are looking for a candidate with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations:
    • Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and data entry.
    • Support various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Personnel Management:
    • Oversee timekeeping processes, ensuring accurate recording of employee hours.
    • Assist in monitoring attendance and punctuality, addressing discrepancies as needed.
  • Store Support:
    • Liaise with store managers to ensure compliance with HR policies related to personnel management.
    • Facilitate communication between stores and HR regarding staffing needs and employee concerns.
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Assist with sourcing and screening candidates.
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews.
    • Provide administrative support during the recruitment process.
  • Onboarding:
    • Prepare onboarding paperwork and conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
    • Assist with the administration of new hire paperwork and benefits enrollment.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Provide general HR support to employees, answering questions and addressing concerns.
    • Assist with employee relations issues, such as performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Provide administrative support for benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and claims processing.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; HR certification is an advantage.
  • Experience of 1 – 3 years as an HR specialist or relevant human resources position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability in using MS Office.
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices.
  • Experience with HR databases.
  • In-depth understanding of sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities.
  • Familiarity with social media recruiting.
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
