Junior Associate - Finance

Summary of the role: Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the Junior Associate – Finance will be an integral part of the team’s success.Duties And ResponsibilitiesFinance / Accounting Responsibilities: Accurately recording financial transactions on QuickBooks (accounting system) Reconcile daily, monthly and yearly financial transactions and maintain book keeping up-to-date Assisting in the preparation of various finance related reports Client Related Responsibilities Issuing invoices to the clients (Retainer, Authorisation, Adhoc) in a timely manner Performing credit control and reporting to management in case of any unusual delays in payment and take action for recovery accordingly Resolving any financial disputes raised by clients reg excess fee, others MIS Reporting Responsibilities Publishing weekly / monthly reports to management related to firm’s performance to facilitate them to make strategic decisions (financial report, sales report, credit control report, others) Publishing weekly / monthly reports to management related to staff / team performance (timesheet report) Staff Related ResponsibilitiesCo-ordinating with staff to ensure timesheets are finalized and invoices are issued in a timely mannerRequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The successful candidate should be able to act in an independent manner to perform various finance related assigned duties and adopt to the work culture across the organization
