Consultant - Information & Communication Technology

ResponsibilitiesFrost & Sullivan's ICT Practise is looking to fill the role of Consultant. The candidate hired for this role will be responsible for helping set and deliver the overall course and direction for the Product/Service Industry research service area. This is a relatively public role with many client-facing and industry-facing responsibilities, but with primary responsibility for producing the research, as well as supporting other research services within this services' product family. Primary duties will include:· Conducting market research· Supporting Project Manager in delivering consulting projects· Authoring research reports· Analyzing large survey data sets · Creating materials to visualize/illustrate key trends and takeaways from research data, such as PowerPoint presentations, charts, figures, tables, etc. Additional responsibilities include managing the research agenda, writing research reports, helping with marketing activities to raise industry visibility, conducting business development, providing sales support, and acting effectively as a client advisor for industrial companies and technology suppliers. The 5 primary skills required to be successful in this role include:· Experience working with large survey data sets to:· Data analysis - Analyze survey results to identify important conclusions/trends· Data visualization - Create PowerPoint presentation decks with intuitive graphs/charts/tables to deliver narrative and illustration of survey data results· Writing skills – Strong writing skills. Ability to write research reports quickly and clearly, in a prescription fashion, offering business and technology advice to clients.· Speaking skills – Strong speaking presence. Ability to handle client inquiries over the phone or in-person, deliver webcasts, and occasionally speak publicly at meetings or events.· Self-motivated Hard Worker Qualification and Skills Required· Prior Understanding of IT & Telecom Sector and understanding of technology markets 5+ years of hands-on experience in market research and consulting
