Job Description

  • Hands-on experience in maintaining and configuring Windows-based servers (DC, ADC, WSUS, Backup)
  • Background in Networking – LAN / WAN and Wireless.
  • Holds a detailed understanding of core internet technologies –Switching, DNS, DHCP, mail transport, OSI Model.
  • Active Directory, DHCP, and backup management.
  • Knowledge of Configuration of Cisco Switches, VLAN management, etc.
  • Create and enforce policies for effective data management in DC, etc.
  • Backup and restore all critical resources.
  • Ability to manage backup jobs, execute restore jobs, troubleshoot failed jobs, and initiate corrective action.
  • Telecom knowledge including VOIP / SIP and mobile technologies
  • Understanding of security systems such as Access Controls, and NVR /CCTV systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (enterprise applications, local/networking printing, e-mail, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues)
  • Manage and maintain computer workstations and keep them running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them
  • Knowledge of configuring network printers.
  • Strengthen IT system security in the organization to ensure data and IT system safety.
  • Ability to learn, test, and evaluate new technology
  • Manage the proper storage of all company data and archiving of records and backups.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of all IT systems in the organization.
  • Instruct end-users on Security measures, Ransomware attacks, Phishing, Email threats, etc.

Job Requirements

 

  • Experience designing technical course material
  • Familiarity with web-based learning platforms and modern educational techniques
  • Good understanding of corporate computer security principles
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms plainly
  • BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
  • Fluent English
