Senior UI/UX Designer

OverviewThe Senior UI/UX Designer will spearhead the UI/UX design initiatives for Compass within Core42, focusing on crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces that align with strategic business goals.Core42 is the UAE’s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group’s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Building on our capabilities as sovereign cloud and HPC specialist, we bring generative AI, cybersecurity, professional and managed services expertise to enable national-scale program deployments across industries.Responsibilities Responsibilities Product Strategy Develop a compelling UX/UI vision for our key solutions and products within the Core42 ecosystem, aligning with the overall product strategy and business objectives. Drive UX/UI design principles across Core42 solutions and products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and in harmony with the brand. Product Design Leadership Lead strategic workflows, data-driven research, inclusive ideation, design iteration, wireframing, prototyping and any related production processes in both UI and UX design. Establish and maintain comprehensive design systems and standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all UI/UX elements. User Research And Feedback Conduct user research, analyse feedback, and leverage analytics to inform UI/UX design decisions. Continuously iterate based on user feedback to enhance the user experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the product team, engineers, and designers, to ensure a cohesive and player-centric UI/UX design approach. Facilitate processes that enable effective cross-functional collaboration in design. Industry Understanding Gain a deep understanding of AI and the Cloud industry to ensure the UI/UX resonates with business users. People Management Lead and motivate a team of talented designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation in UI/UX design. Communicate UI/UX design concepts and guidelines effectively across diverse teams, ensuring alignment and understanding. Coach and develop the team to reach their full potential. Qualifications Minimum 7 years of proven experience in UI/UX design, particularly in tech or AI-driven products. Proficiency in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). Exceptional leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Graduate of any related course.
