We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to join one of the prestigious hospitals in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be a driven and dedicated individual with a passion for providing world-class ophthalmology services to our patients. As a leading healthcare provider in the region, we are dedicated to delivering excellent patient care and investing in the latest technology and treatments.Main Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of various ophthalmic conditions. Conduct surgeries for complicated cases requiring intervention such as cataract extraction, refractive surgery, corneal transplants, etc. Prescribe and manage a variety of treatments, including medications, contact lenses, and low-vision aids. Provide consultations and guidance to patients and their families on eye health, diseases, and treatment options. Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes. Manage and train junior staff, including technicians and fellow doctors, to maintain high-quality standards of care.Qualifications And Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution, with a specialization in Ophthalmology. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting. Valid license to practice as an Ophthalmologist in Saudi Arabia. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach. Strong surgical skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work under pressure and handle critical situations with calmness and composure.
