JUNIPER NETWORKS ENGINEER

As a Juniper Networks Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing network solutions using Juniper Networks products and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability, security, and performance while troubleshooting and resolving network issues. Your role may also involve implementing network upgrades and optimizing network infrastructure for enhanced efficiency.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop network architecture plans based on business requirements, utilizing Juniper Networks' hardware and software products.Design and implement scalable and high-performance network solutions.Evaluate and recommend network design improvements to enhance security, performance, and reliability.Configure and deploy Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.Implement network protocols, routing, and switching configurations.Ensure proper VLAN, IP addressing, and subnetting for efficient traffic management.Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch management, and hardware replacements.Monitor network performance, analyze logs, and proactively address issues to minimize downtime.Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls, to protect the network from threats.Ensure compliance with industry standards and security policies.Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly, minimizing service disruptions.Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams.Collaborate with vendors and support teams for complex problem resolution.Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including configurations, diagrams, and policies.Generate reports on network performance, capacity, and utilization.Analyze network traffic patterns and optimize configurations for better performance.Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical applications and services.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, security specialists, and developers, to meet business goals.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISEBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Juniper Networks certifications, such as JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP, or JNCIE, are highly desirable.Proven experience in designing, configuring, and managing Juniper-based network solutions.Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and IPsec.Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong commitment to network security best practices.Vertical:Technology
