We deliver on that purpose through the products that we make, and the way that we make them.The Thermal Ceramics division designs, manufactures and installs a broad range of thermal insulation products that significantly reduce energy consumption and emissions in a variety of high temperature processing applications. Our product offering is extensive and covers application needs from Industrial to Commercial markets.As the QA Lead you will assure consistent quality of production by developing and enforcing good manufacturing practice systems & validating processes. As part of your responsibility you will validate quality processes by confirming product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures. The QA Lead will implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate reliability and accuracy of processes, products and production. Develop and establish quality procedures and systems whilst ensuring process control documents and adhere with set requirements.Responsibilities Maintain a safe, healthy and visual work place. Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements. Effectively interact with production team to maintain product supply specification Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. Ensuring compliance with international standards and legislation. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated, if necessary. Supervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.Writing technical and management systems reports. Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures. Manage and maintain the Company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods. Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC. Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved. Assessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirements. Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff. Liaising with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications. Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports. Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters. Qualifications Engineering degree in Chemistry/Post Graduate in Applied Science 5-6 years of experience in a similar role(process industry) Good knowledge in QMS / EMS concepts and practices and hands-on exposure to 5S / TQM practices.
