The job opening is located in Saudi Arabia and offers exciting chal-lenges and potential for career growthYour responsibilities:Estimation of construction transport volumes by types of cargoEstimation of transport vehicles required.Development of laydown area and warehouse strategy with location planAlignment of construction volumes handling regimesElaboration of guidelines and policies for construction logistics with focus on construction equipment and transport vehiclesFeasibility studies of alternative transport solutionsStudies on international import gates in KSA with focus on capacities and SOPLiaison with stakeholders, partners and sub-consultant on client‘ sideLiaison with and support other experts on the team, both locally and remoteSite visits on construction sitesContribute content for logistics handbook.Elaboration of a volumes model in MS ExcelElaboration of presentations in MS Power PointPresentation of results to top management on client site. Your profile:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalentMinimum 10 years’ experience in materials management, logistics, or supply chain manage-ment in the construction industry. Working experience in Saudi Arabia is an advantage, plus experience in dealing with Govern-ment agencies, client and public & private stakeholders. Strong understanding in materials movement management principles, regulations and industry trends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence di-verse stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, English & Arabic written and verbal, are essential to success in this role. Proficiency in relevant logistics software and tools for tracking and monitoring materials move-ment. Experience with MS Office applications including excellent skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint presentation.Driving license is required.
