Mediclinic Middle East - Continuum of Care in United Arab Emirates is looking to fill a Nursing Director's post. The successful candidate will be taking care of our fertility IVF centers and home care services across Dubai, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi regions.MAIN PURPOSE OF JOBTo lead and manage nursing and allied health services and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure the continuous improvement and maintenance of quality care.To ensure clinical operational efficiency and effectiveness as a strategic imperative.REQUIRED EDUCATIONEssential: Licensed or eligible for licensing as a registered nurse or midwife with the relevant Healthcare Authority in the UAEDesired: Master’s Degree in Nursing or other related field e.g. Healthcare ManagementREQUIRED EXPERIENCEEssential: At least 5 years’ nursing leadership experience in a large, multidisciplinary center in a fertility and/or home care settingsKEY RESPONSIBILITY AREASTo provide strong leadership to the teamTo actively drive, ensure compliance to and support a culture of quality careTo develop, implement and monitor the nursing strategic plan to ensure that clinical and operational goals are metTo actively manage and facilitate patient safety and other risk processes and practicesEffective workforce planning and resource management to ensure a balance is achieved between clinical quality care and operational efficiencyBuild and maintain sustainable and productive relationships to ensure a high level of patient experience/satisfaction and integrated patient careREQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEAnalysing and interpreting data related to quality improvement in clinical care and the overall functioning of the facilityApplication of financial controls within the clinical function of the hospital, including compiling and monitoring a budget and managing expensesApplication of relevant HR policies and proceduresDemonstrate the ability to assist with nursing and allied health policy developmentKnowledge and understanding of medical-legal processesKnowledge of Disaster Management processesNursing and Allied Health functional knowledgeApplication of project management principlesComputer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applicationsQuality improvement processes and the ability to maintain and improve quality standards and ensure that accreditation standards are metUAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirementsVerbal and written communication skills in EnglishSkilled in the application of policies, procedures, requirements and regulations related to the management and administration of the nursing and allied health function in hospitals
