We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Officer. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for trade pre-matching, settlement, reporting for custody trades etc, in all required markets – including all client/broker/custody communications by email and phone.Liaise with agent banks, brokers, CGM sales, trading desks, and the customer's back-office to follow up on any potential fails prior to the settlement date.Relay unmatched/settlement risk items to overseas offices and trading desks for resolution to avoid failures or buy-in.Perform monthly collection of receivables from counterparties and ensuring the reporting to Finance.Ensure that corporate actions are performed and taken in a timely manner.Perform system testing and other Ad Hoc duties.Setting up accounts in the back-office systems.Support to trading desk.Calculating PnL and reporting error trades.Ensure documentation of duties and responsibilities, process workflow charts, and how-to documents are updated in departmental manuals.Effective communication and management of duties with outsourced counterparts.Assist with system, process, and internal control improvements on an ongoing basis.Assist tech teams on system / process upgrades when implementing new products or services.Any other ad hoc projects that may be required from Management.Qualifications1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
