We treat our guests and our colleagues with respect and work hard together to deliver the highest quality of service to all.The Chief Accountant is responsible for below tasks and others assigned by thier departments as necessary.Manage and oversee the entire accounting team with the assistance of the Finance ManagerConduct all necessary training to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to dateEnsure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiledMaintain current and garner new client relationshipsMonitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepersDetect and address potential compliance issues proactivelyMaintain highly organized and updated client filesResponsible for day to day finance and accounts operations. Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts. Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls. Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting. Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries. Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams. Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up. Supporting Finance Manager in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policyConsultative with the respective departments on cost reduction initiativesTo attend all departmental meetings, briefings & internal or external training sessions as required. Establishes and maintains an inclusive environment by ensuring effective two ways communication processes are set up. To act wholeheartedly in the interests of the Company at all times & not to perform, arrange or carry out any work or activity which could be considered to be in competition with or affect in any way the company interests or be detrimental or damaging to it’s public image. Job Specifications:Minimium 3-5 years relevant experience in financial & management accountingHospitality experience preferredBachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, any additions qualification will be considered. Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous. Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels. Able to work independently and highly meticulous.
