An organisation is searching for a Project Director within Construction, please see some of their job details below.Job Details Leads the Management of the design work and construction activities during and completes the project within the budgeted schedule and cost.Monitoring build progress, overseeing finance and ensuring project quality.Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions.Meeting with clients, stakeholders and project managers to report on project progress.Liaising with clients and building strong working relationshipsManages project risks and implements a risk mitigation plan.Communicate with the Client’s representatives continuously regarding Project Progress and other areas of concern.Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion.Manages project risks and implements a risk mitigation plan.Ensuring permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project.Managing project managers and enabling them to supervise and manage their own teams.Working in an office and on a construction site.Reviews weekly and monthly reports.RequirementsQualificationsA degree in an construction management /Architectural/Civil Engineering degree.Recognized Project Management Qualification. (Added Advantage)20 or more years of experience in managing large scale projects.Demonstrated experience on major master plans & residential developments as well as mixed use projects.#OTHER#OTHER
