Job Description

OPS Contract Admin ManagerThe OPS Contract Admin Manager will be an integral part of OPS Project Control Team, overseeing both pre- and post-award contract activities and execution for MRO and NBR projects. He/she will be actively supporting the process for bids and interface with all relevant stakeholders. He/she will provide contractual support and guidance to OPS project team members, ensuring effective contract administration for both prime and subcontracts throughout the contract life cycle. He/she will also coordinate with the centralized Contract Department of IMI.Key Accountabilites Qualification Experience About Application Process If you meet the criteria and you are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome your application. To complete the application you would need the following document(s): Contract Preparation (Pre-Award) (Zone A & D2):Review contract terms, conditions, and specifications with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.In coordination with PSCM, ensure contractual clarity, accuracy, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to technical specifications (Scope of Work), technical criteria and price structure. Monitor contract execution, compliance, and deliverables throughout the contract lifecycle. Contract Management and Compliance (Post-Award) (Zone A & D2):Lead and supervise the project contract administration team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Monitor and track milestones, deadlines, and deliverables outlined in the contracts. Collaborate & support the project teams, procurement, and finance departments to address any deviations or issues related to contract compliance. Change Order Management (Zone A & D2):Review and evaluate project change orders. Assess the impact of change orders on project scope, cost, and schedule. Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate and finalize change orders in a timely manner. Contract Administration (Zone A & D2):Establish and maintain a comprehensive project contract management system, including accurate contract documentation, versions, amendments, and correspondence.Prepare and distribute contract-related reports, summaries, and updates to internal and external stakeholders.Ensure proper filing, archiving, and retrieval of contract-related records. Dispute Resolution (Zone A & D2):Lead and facilitate the resolution of Client’s contract-related disputes or claims. Collaborate with legal counsel to gather relevant information and provide support during dispute resolution processes for Client’s contract. Identify and implement strategies to minimize potential disputes and conflicts during project execution. Relationship Management (Zone A & D2):Foster positive and professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Provide support to the main point of contact regarding any concerns or inquiries related to contracts. Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the contract lifecycle. Risk Mitigation (Zone A & D2):Identify potential contractual risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and manage risks associated with contract performance, compliance, and deliverables. Implement contract-related risk management processes and procedures. Team Leadership (Zone A & D2):Provide leadership and guidance to the PROJECT/OPS contract administration team, ensuring effective teamwork, performance management, and professional development. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages open communication and continuous improvement.Bachelor's degree in business, contract management, or a related field.Professional certification in Contracts / Dispute Management such as CCCM, CPCM, CFCM. Certified Project Management from International Project Management Institute is an advantage.At least 15+ years’ experience in legal & contract management, with at least 5 years in a managerial or similar capacity (including claims and dispute resolution). Proven experience in contract administration or contract management, in the shipyard industry. Resume/CV Passport-size photograph
