With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients while adhering to the highest standards of safety and sustainability.Your new role, what's involved?We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and a focus on infrastructure projects, particularly in roads, highways, tunnels, and bridges. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion within the consultancy environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage the planning, design, and execution phases of infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project requirements, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate project teams, including engineers, designers, contractors, and subcontractors, to deliver high-quality results and meet project objectives.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and performance throughout the project lifecycle.Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project compliance and address any issues or concerns promptly.Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges, implementing effective strategies to keep projects on track and within scope.Monitor and control project finances, including budget allocation, expenditure, and forecasting, to optimize resource utilization and project profitability.Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment focused on achieving project goals.Communicate regularly with senior management and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, implementing best practices and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery processes, incorporating new technologies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.We'd love to hear from you if you have:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, tunnels, and bridges.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices for infrastructure projects.Commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism in project delivery.What's in it for you?As well as rewarding you with competitive pay, WSP offers standard benefits including first class medical cover, paid professional subscriptions.Be you, be happy - we strive to have a friendly and inclusive culture which respects and maximizes the contribution individuals can bring to WSP.
