Director of Finance (Manila)

Job description:Overview of the roleWe are looking for a passionate individual who will perform day-to-day financial management and control of operations and ensures timely delivery of relevant, accurate financial reports and information to the Board of Directors and department managers.Key Accountabilities​Ensure there are proper accounting procedures in place with sufficient valid supporting information, all of which comply with local government requirements and which are correctly filed and storedEnsure compliance with all terms and conditions of the management/lease agreements and associated legal documents. Keep and safeguard all contracts, leases, insurance policies and all legal and financial documents and maintains a suitable “trace” system to ensure that there is sufficient time to consider and renew all contractsLead the review and preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly profit & loss statements in consultation with the Managing Director and ensure all reports are prepared in accordance with accounting standards (both local and HK GAAP), statutory requirements, hotel industry specific guidelines and Head Office requirementsAscertain that all taxes, contributions, licenses, interest and management fees are accurately calculated and paid on time; and ensure the timely payment of all valid supplier invoices under the agreed payment scheduleMonitor capital expenditure and present viable financial feasibility analysis for new investment proposalsGeneral RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Financial ManagementAt least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industryAbility to work in a fast-paced work environmentAnalytical, with good business acumenInfluential, a good persuaderWe are delighted to receive your resume for further consideration.
