Job Description
Manage the execution of all financial activities and related services ensuring the adherence to the set policies and procedures and applicable standards and regulatory requirements. This includes but not limited to:Petty cash management (reconciliation and replenishment), insurance, tax, accounts receivables and expense reimbursement.Recording of transactions and preparation of the general ledger.Payroll processing, through effective cooperation with the HR Department.Fixed assets and operational accounting.Accounts payable (invoicing and payment cycle) and accounts receivable, including following up with debtors if applicable.Receipt and registration of SCISP’s invoices.Systematic documentation of SCISP transactions, in line with best practice financial standards.Review the general reconciliation of all accounting transactions to ensure that they are error free and that all accounting transactions and entries are correctly captured.Manage SCISP cash flow, ensuring the availability of cash resources or access to adequate cash is in place to meet financial demands in line with the financial management framework developed.Review expenses and obligations through the payable cycle, ensuring obligations can be met and cash flow is not impacted.Manage the settlement of payments (e.g. employee payroll, contractor invoices), as well as tax related matters, and maintain relationships with government entities and financial institutions.Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements, MIS reports and financial report that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with relevant systems.Manage the financial information compilation, documentation, and preparation processes in accordance to best financial practice and standards.Ensure timely and accurate collection, consolidation, reconciliation and effective presentation of SCISP accounting and audit information for review with SCISP management as required.Job RequirementsAcademic & Professional Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, AccountingFinance or Accounting related certificate is required (e.g. CMA, CPA, SOCPA)Experience:A minimum of 8 years in solid/extensive experience in finance and accounting of which 2-4 years holding a managerial position, preferably in a:Diverse/multi-cultural business industry (obtained from medium to large organization)Multi-national companyExperience in a strategic development, global business development or similar type roleKnowledge:Advance understanding of accounting principles and standardsExperience in Government policies and Etimad platformAdvance understanding of financial management, budgeting and accounting frameworksAdvance understanding of the public and private sector accounting requirements and regulations in KSAAdvance English language ProficiencyFluency in Arabic language
