The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the project manager to ensure the participation of cross-functional stakeholders in furthering project goals. With organization and prioritization skills, this candidate will organize the necessary pieces to ensure project success
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Project Support and Coordination
○ Assist the project manager in defining project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
○ Monitor and track project progress, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
○ Coordinate resources and tasks, maintaining schedules and resolving issues as they arise.
○ Organize and facilitate project meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes.
- 2. Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence
○ Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to identify and eliminate process inefficiencies.
○ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project workflows and outcomes.
○ Promote operational excellence by streamlining processes and optimizing resource utilization.
- 3. Data Analytics and Reporting
○ leverage data analytics tools to track project performance and identify trends.
○ Develop dashboards and visual reports to communicate progress and insights effectively.
○ Use data-driven analysis to support decision-making and recommend actionable improvements.
- 4. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
○ Act as a central point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
○ Track project issues and risks, escalating them to the project manager as needed.
○ Prepare and distribute project documentation, status reports, and improvement proposals.
○ Engage stakeholders through regular updates and training on Lean Six Sigma and process improvement initiatives.
- 5. Administrative and Technical Tasks
○ Maintain organized records of project correspondence, contracts, and documentation.
○ Manage project management tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
○ Support procurement and logistics related to project execution.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience
- At least 2-3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Agile & Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification preferred).
Skills and Competencies
- ○ Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- ○ Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma tools (e.g., DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- ○ Familiar with the Agile framework ( Waterfall, Kanban & Scrum )
- ○ Advanced data analytics skills with experience in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- ○ Familiarity with operational excellence frameworks and methodologies.
- ○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ○ Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana, Jira, Miro).
- ○ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to dynamic environments. 4. Personal Attributes
